HOW MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE WORKS
Manual Lymphatic Drainage focuses on gently clearing the lymphatic fluid and the waste toxins it carries out from the tissues.

Spinal Alignment
Rapid reduction of swelling and inflammation
-
The Gold Standard: Manually directs stagnant fluid to functioning lymph nodes using gentle, precise movements.
-
Immediate Benefits: Reduces swelling and edema, relieves pressure, and leaves your limbs feeling light and refreshed.

Accelerated Healing & Recovery
Accelerate your recovery from surgery, injury, or training:
-
Flushes out metabolic waste and cellular debris
-
Delivers oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissues faster
-
Reduces downtime, bruising, and post-procedure discomfort

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR SESSION
Gentle touch, big results
Unlike typical massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses very light, precise strokes across your skin. Because delicate lymphatic capillaries close under heavy pressure, light touch is essential to keep fluid moving—while naturally triggering your body's "rest and digest" mode to help you unwind.
-
Privacy & Comfort: Just like with massage, you will undress to your comfort level and remain draped under a sheet or blanket the entire time, with only the area being addressed exposed.
-
Deep Relaxation: Most people find MLD deeply soothing, and it is very common to drift off to sleep.
-
Post-Session Care: You may feel a bit lightheaded or woozy when standing up, so take your time getting off the table. It is also completely normal to need the restroom shortly after, as your body begins flushing out the extra fluid.

"for those wondering, curious, a maybe-my LDT session on Saturday with Tom was thorough, supportive and relaxing. As a lymph drainage practitioner of over 2 decades, I am particular about who I trust to do this work with me. So not knowing Tom, I took a leap of trust because I already knew he would offer me a safe, skilled and lovely session. I was able to rest for the rest of the day, feeling balanced, clear, sleepy in a good way and as if I had a reset for the loving lymph fluids in my body. Tom is thoughtful, knowledgeable and holds a safe space to receive this gentle and powerful work. THANK YOU TOM I LOVED OUR SESSION."
